An old friend gave me the nickname Tingle Tangle because of my habit of acquiring random bits and pieces of knowledge and things, stuff and nonsense, etc. My natural eclecticism (as I see it), has given me a particular and very personal connection with the concept of the Cabinets of Curiosities. It enables me to bring together a variety of unexpected things to inhabit this encased "world within a world". I make new prints in a mix of styles, as well as uncovering old work from my tangled archive, to create miniature museums of poetical connections.
