Cooling Off

Training in Theatre Design started Rebecca’s lifelong love of atmosphere and drama. Pastels are her perfect medium, allowing her to simultaneously combine drawing and painting; making marks with energy, fluidity and precision. Portrait commissions range from English National Ballet to Arabian horses. Rebecca is an Associate member of the Society of Equestrian Artists, and is also inspired by the landscapes of Devon, people and architecture. Rebecca teaches pastel courses in Britain, Italy and online. Her book, ‘Pastels for the Absolute Beginner’ is available now.Exhibitions include the Pastel Society, and Artists of the Year 2019, at the Mall Galleries, London.
