Floating Leaves

Originally from Manchester, I spent many years in the South East as a cartographer. I’m now living in the South Hams and developing ideas as an artistic wood turner. Walking the dogs on the beaches and in the countryside has been a great influence and inspiration for my work. From my home workshop, I turn native woods, which have been inset with hand cut wooden profiles and then filled with coloured resins. The final unique pieces have a natural flow with the resin colours contrasting with the beauty and grain of the wood.
