Dartmoor: Haytor and the Lowman under Snow

Born in Torquay, Kevin Wright trained at Newton Abbot College of Art and later at Newport and Goldsmiths College, London. He taught art for a number of years and as an art advisor for schoolsin London ran exchange programmes with art schools in Venice and Padua. Workingfiguratively, mainly in the media of etching and aquatint, he draws his subject matter from the moors and coastline of the West Country and from such cities as London and Venice. He enjoys traditional printmaking methods, using copper plates bitten with acids to create and develop imagery. His work has exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Mall Galleries, the Medici Gallery and at other galleries including ones in Italy and Germany.
