New Life

I live in Mid Devon and display my work and attend events internationally, gaining many awards. Since I graduated my sculpture degree in 2001, I have chosen large scale wood sculpture as my means of expression. I deliberately carve my ‘Dwellings’ in a haphazard way. I feel there sketchy appearance better describes my fondness for old buildings that wear their signs of use, weathering, repair and extension. I also enjoy carving wildlife by chainsaw and let the textures from the saw describe the movement in the feather and fir.
