Take Your Time

I am a passionate landscape artist. I paint to inspire the viewer to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. Having returned to the South West over a decade ago to live near my childhood haunts of North Cornwall and West Devon I find I am constantly inspired by my surroundings. I take particular inspiration from very close to home (on early morning dog walks) in the Tamar Valley as well as our stunning coastline. I want to celebrate this beautiful and varied landscape by trying to capture the feel of a particular moment. Colour is extremely important in my work and is often slightly exaggerated – or maybe that’s just how I see the world…
