From a beginning studying figurative painting at Guildford College of Art in the late 1950s through to current work in abstraction, colour has always been a major element in my output, and I love combining the wonderful chromatic intensity of fused glass with the clear lines and strength of steel. Artist-blacksmith Richard Bent and I have worked together creating durable sculpture for public spaces and gardens for over 25 years, having received many & varied commissions from local authorities and private clients.
