My favourite poem at the moment is by Roger Keyes. It sums up what I focus on and is my mantra.
Hokusai says look carefully.
He says pay attention, notice.
He says keep looking, stay curious.
He says there is no end to seeing.
To look; see; listen; smell; taste; touch and to record. I seek, collect, feel and wish to capture a place or feeling evoked. Texture, colour, shape, context and concept are all fused together. I use mixed media to explore endless possibilities. An associate member of The Society of Women Artist and an international award winning artist.
