Pyramids in the Sand

My pictures are mostly concerned with the human figure, often (though not always) in the setting of the beach and seashore. I try to convey the pleasurable physical and emotional feelings of the surroundings and also the way we can become so absorbed by simple beach activities. My pictures often involve children and I frequently receive commissions from parents and grandparents. I am a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists in London where I exhibit regularly, and occasionally hold workshops. I have been RSMA Trustee on the Board of the FBA. I won the Derwent Pastel Prize in 2021
