Evening Light in the Field

Sally originally qualified as an architect and worked in London before heading off to work overseas. Finding that her art work was in demand, and having a young family to look after, she took up art full time about 30 years ago! Her work is now in homes all over the world. First working in ink and watercolour (the tools of an architect) Sally now finds more freedom in acrylic paint. It has always been the interaction of colours and light, bringing form to buildings, trees, moorland and fields that fascinates her. More recently studying David Hockney, Van Gogh and Gustav Klimt has led to experimenting with pointillism and its way of playing with colours.
