High Summer

Born in 1944, I moved from Canada to the U.K. in 1987. I have drawn and painted for most of my life. After a long career in industrial design and engineering, I moved from London to Devon in 2007 in order to paint full time. My paintings are a balance between close observation and emotional/visceral responses to the landscape. I am making semi-abstract paintings from specific places in order to provoke the viewer's memories, feelings and emotions.
