Grassland Visitor

I have lived in West Devon for the past 20 years and for this show the natural world has been my inspiration. I wanted to focus on wildlife and also to highlight some of the incredible creatures that we see so little of that are often present nightly in our gardens and open spaces. Many of these species are under threat due to a number of reasons but largely through habitat loss. By encouraging plants and flowers in our gardens we can play a part by creating mini nature reserves and make a difference. I am a printmaker and I love all things decorative. Colour, texture and pattern attract me and I like to combine these elements to make naive and imagined work.
