Here's to ones Who Dream

I am a life-long stitcher and collector. I have always been drawn to fascinating miniature objects, to beautiful, vintage textiles and to a good story. My work combines all three. Each piece captures a unique narrative, a moment of reflection in a textiled landscape. I create these original miniature stories in hinged tins, often old and reused, with their own story to tell. Each piece is unique, pulling together the techniques of machine and hand embroidery with miniature characters and objects. They are inspired by my local Devon landscape and are accompanied by a reflective message. My aim is to share something handmade and unique with you. I do hope you love my stories as much as I do and that they bring some reflection and whimsy to your busy days and to those you pass them on to.
