Waves Over Hidden Rocks

Artist based in Yealmpton, South Hams. My background is in textiles giving me a love of mixed media, texture, colour and mark making. I taught Art, Graphics and Photography, recently focussing on my own work. I am inspired by the Devon landscape, my work starting from observation but changing through the effect of layers, textures and colours to create a feeling of place. Using varied media, from acrylic on canvas to Lino print, etching and collage ,exploring mood, light and atmosphere. I have exhibited at Delamore Arts, Doddiscombsleigh Art Show, Studio Nine, Birdwood House gallery,The Paradiso gallery , Yealm Art Show , Dunsford Art Show as well as running various pop ups over the last years.
