As Ghosts Become Us

Ian is a full-time artist/printmaker based in South Devon. He works with Lino print, Monotype and Mezzotint, and he also produces large and detailed Charcoal and Pastel drawings. Through work that often conveys a sense of otherness, the uncanny, and difference, he explores ideas of individual isolation, social connection and the relationship between people and the wild. When he is not making art, he spends his time writing and re-writing his artist statement in the hope that, one day, he’ll find the words that will describe exactly what he’s up to.
