Fungi "Fruits of Life"

Having been a potter for many years I wanted to expand my work so I attended a glass course at Richmond College. This started my 18 year journey into Glass Casting in which I specialise in. I have exhibited in exhibitions with Just Glass Society, Contemporary Glass Society and have had work selected for the International Glass Biennale in 2016 & 2018. I love the complexity of casting and the multifariousness and intricacies the process offers. It enables me to create unusual and unique pieces. My work incorporates colour too, bringing contrasts together. I take my inspirations from several sources – my travels around the world, architecture, flora and fauna and, of course, from glass artists old and new. I am in the process of setting up my own studio in Northamptonshire.
