The Meadow

I am a mosaic artist, currently based in Market Harborough, on the border between Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. I studied art at A level, further and higher education, specialising in sculpture, ceramics and photography at university. My mosaic work encompasses my love of repurposing and recycling, using unwanted china combined with porcelain and vitreous glass tiles, beads, millefiori, and more recently stained glass to make joyful art. My inspiration is nature, and I am happiest spending time in woodland or by the sea. Birds, both real and imaginary, nests and eggs feature strongly in my work, as does wildlife such as hares and foxes. I am an exhibiting member of Northants and Rutland Open Studios, and have shown my work at the Sock Gallery open exhibition for several years running. I also sell my work at high quality local events and have been accepted as an artist for the Art House event in Leicester later this year.
