Beth Woodland plays around with the discovery of shape and form, creating is something shes incredibly passionate and excited about. Her most recent work is an invitation for the viewer to explore the canvas, to encounter composition and how colours meet and move with each other. Beth’s work creates a moment to stop and really look. Allowing your eyes to dance around the canvas, to see the individual areas of colour proving that they are important, then appreciating the moment you see the canvas entirely as its whole. Her works are moving pieces, with momentary hellos and goodbyes, with sparks of interplay between them and their similarities, but also their vast independence, an encounter into abstraction.
