Walking around my favourite places in Devon and Cornwall I was entranced by how the hedgerows changed from week to week. In my work I constructed flowers and plants to help convey the depth, density and variety of what I was seeing in the hedgerows. Each piece I created reflects a specific time and place. Having taught DT Textiles I wanted to combine my love of textiles and art to create a 3D multi media effect.
