Inspired by nature and the local landscape, from the hedgerows, along the lanes, across the moors and to the sea! I work in a variety of materials including beautiful British wool. My needle-felts are only available as original pieces and are created with wool mainly from Dartmoor and Exmoor sheep and purchased from local mills. Starting out as a florist in Warwickshire, later graduating with a first-class honours degree in Illustration, I went on to qualify as a secondary school art teacher. Having taught for many years, I now teach art workshops from my home on the edge of Dartmoor, these include acrylics and inks, oil pastels, mixed media and of course needle-felting in wonderful wool!
