Clare McEwan is a visual artist specialising in contemporary paintings and drawings of animals. Her artwork seeks to capture the spirit of these precious lives while conveying their individuality and highlighting the interconnectedness of our shared experience. Her background is within the graphic arts, as well as frequently attending workshops to learn new techniques and processes, she has an MA and BA in Graphic Design and Illustration. Alongside her creative practice Clare has shared her love for the subject teaching a combination of A Level and GCSE fine art, graphic communication and photography for over twenty years. She currently holds a part-time teaching post at a college in Cambridge.
