The Artist - Stewart Taylor

Stewart is continuing with his Tree Portraits series from Devon, which started over 4 years ago. Initially inspired by the street trees of his London neighbourhood, these moved outwards to the parks and the wilds nearby, quickly becoming a conversation about our lack of connectivity with the natural world. He has recently printed Joshua Trees from California that were destroyed by the Cima Dome wildfire; and trees near the Danube in Slovakia, that were photographed for him by fellow artist Eva Boda. Stewart also raised £1000 for the Woodland Trust in 2023 through his print 'The Old Man of Calke'.
