The Artist - Rosie Burns Rosie Burns has been creating and exhibiting her art for over three decades. With a background in Archaeological Illustration and a degree in Archaeology and Sociology, she brings a unique perspective to her work. After qualifying as an Art & Design teacher, Rosie spent seven years teaching in diverse educational settings in the UK and abroad. In 2023, she and her partner, Red, opened their studios, expanding her practice to include community and studio-based teaching. Rosie exhibits widely across the UK, with notable recent highlights including participation in the 2024 Venice Biennale with SHIM and selection for the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers’ exhibition at Bankside Gallery, London.Her work often explores themes of water, skies, environmental reflection, and the human form. Balancing landscape and figurative elements, her pieces reflect a dynamic interplay of style and intention, underscored by her distinct, dyslexic creativity. | |
